Lets Begin with what does message mean.

What is a message?

A message is small information given to the person when we can not speak personally with the person.

When is a Virtual Message Written:

Message means a piece of information used to convey any thoughts/views/ ideas.

Virtual communication uses technology like audio-video to communicate messages with people who are not physically present in the communication process.

Mostly, input for virtual communication comes through a telephonic talk between two people. The virtual communication is conveyed to the third person called the receiver of the message. This person is not present in the telephonic conversation. These messages are written on slips of paper called ‘memos’.

Points to remember while drafting Virtual Message:

1.      1. When an audio chat or a telephonic conversation between two speakers is given, a 
          virtual  message has to be drafted for the third person for whom the message is meant.

 2. Virtual message is having to be clear, and concise in simple language so that the third             person can easily understand the message.

 3.   Always mention the date, time, name of the receiver, body of the message and finally  
             the sender’s name needs to be added.

 4.  The message/body must contain all important details. Avoid unwanted information.

 5.  Language must be simple.

 6.  Lastly pay attention to spelling, tense, and punctuation rules while drafting a virtual 
           message.

 7.  Be friendly and polite.

 8.   8. Word limit - Use 50- 60 words for drafting virtual messages.

You are Nutan. Today you had the following conversation with Ruhamah who is Anna’s friend.

Ruhamah         : Can I speak with Ms. Anna

Nutan              : Anna is gone to yoga class just now; I am her friend Nutan. Any message           for her?

Ruhamah         : Can you please inform her that today there is my birthday party at Hotel                                  Central, Civil Lines at 6:00 p.m. I would be happy if Anna joins the party.

Nutan              : I will surely inform Anna. “Happy Birthday”
